Cabinet ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Email address and password when you create an account.
- Conversation data: Messages and coaching sessions you have within the app. This data is used to provide coaching responses and session history.
- Usage data: How you interact with the app, including which coaches you use and features you access.
- Purchase information: Subscription status and transaction records processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment card details.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Cabinet coaching experience
- To maintain your session history and personalized coaching context
- To process and manage your subscription
- To send important account-related communications
- To diagnose and fix technical issues
- To improve our leadership guidance models and responses
3. Leadership Coaching Conversations
Coaching conversations in Cabinet are processed by AI language models to generate responses. Your conversation content may be sent to third-party AI providers (including Anthropic and/or NanoGPT) solely for the purpose of generating coaching responses. We do not sell or share your conversation data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Please do not share sensitive personal information such as social security numbers, financial account details, or medical records in your coaching sessions.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database service with enterprise-grade security. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and conversation history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
6. Third-Party Services
Cabinet uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication (Privacy Policy)
- Apple In-App Purchases / Google Play Billing — subscription payments
- RevenueCat — subscription management (Privacy Policy)
- Anthropic / NanoGPT — AI language model providers for coaching responses
7. Children's Privacy
Cabinet is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Data portability
- Withdrawal of consent
